Job summary

Puig SL is seeking a Technical Designer for Knitwear (Temporary) with Carolina Herrera in New York, NY. The role partners with Global Production and Operations to support multiple knitwear projects, ensuring fit, measurement pages, and production readiness from proto to PPS launch.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in luxury knitwear, strong independence, and excellent communication. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Photoshop is required.

Qualifications

• 7 years luxury industry experience in sweaters and knitwear.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with ease.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and create beautiful fit on each garment, both for show sample, and for production, and to ensure design’s aesthetic is maintained throughout the product life cycle.
• Partner with design to create measurement pages for initial proto launch for sweaters, knitwear and cut and sew.
• Work with design to track proto ready dates and measure all prototypes upon arrival.
• Lead knitwear production fittings and communicate final production fit / grading standards.
