Carolina Herrera is a New York-based fashion house seeking a Technical Designer to support the VP of Production and VP of Product Development on key projects. You will ensure the design’s aesthetic is maintained across the product life cycle and collaborate with design on fit and measurement pages for proto launches.

Responsibilities include leading knitwear production fittings, preparing Jersey cut & sew styles, and establishing final production fit and grading to uphold brand construction

Formación

• 5-7 years relevant luxury industry experience.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel, Photoshop.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and create beautiful fit on each garment for show sample and production.
• Partner with design to create measurement pages for proto launches.
• Lead knitwear production fittings and communicate production fit comments.
• Establish final production fit / production grading for each style.
• Maintain brand construction standards within knitwear.
