Job summary

Athletes Global Corporation is seeking a Knitting & Crochet Instructor in Sterling Heights, MI. This in-person program runs Thursdays from 3:25pm to 4:25pm, Sept 24, 2026 through Oct 22, 2026, teaching youth and adults the basics of knitting and crochet.

You will plan hands-on lessons, demonstrate stitches, yarn and tool selection, and support students with varying skill levels while maintaining a welcoming classroom environment. Prior fiber arts experience is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in knitting, crochet, fiber arts or related craft is required.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.

Do you enjoy knitting, crocheting, and sharing your passion for fiber arts with others? We are seeking a creative, patient, and enthusiasticKnitting & Crochet Instructorto lead hands-on enrichment programs for youth and adults in a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment.

The instructor will teach the fundamentals of knitting and crochet through engaging, hands-on lessons that help participants build confidence and develop new creative skills. Students will learn basic stitches, pattern reading, yarn and tool selection, project planning, and finishing techniques while creating their own handmade projects. The program is designed to encourage creativity, patience, fine motor skill development, and artistic expression for participants of all skill levels.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and instructional skills.
• Ability to work with both youth and adult learners of varying experience levels.
• Reliable, patient, creative, and passionate about sharing the art of knitting and crochet.
