Job summary

Cap-America in Fredericktown, MO is seeking a Quality Control associate responsible for overseeing the quality of all finished knits across shifts. You will monitor finished knits to ensure they meet specifications and customer requirements.

Collaborate with machine operators and knit sewers to identify issues, inspect dimensions and design details, and ensure garments are clean and properly packaged for shipping. Some lifting and physical tasks are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect orders, checking for mistakes matched to customers’ paperwork.

• Check length, width, design, finished sewing and pom attachment of each knit.
• Ensure garments meet tolerances and are clean before packaging.
• Count, sort, and package finished garments for shipping.
• Discard or reject garments.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.00 Hourly

Position Summary:
The Quality Control associate is responsible for overseeing the Quality of all Finished Knits for all shifts. This is done through effective monitoring of all the finished knits.

Essential Functions

• Inspect orders, checking for any mistakes that could have been made that do not match the customers paper work. Such as; Styles, colors, quantities, design, design colors, and any specific notes that may need to be shown.
• Working closely with machine operators as well as knit sewers to identify any issues that may occur.
• Carefully look at the length, width, design, finished sewing and pom attachment of each knit.
• Ensuring the above areas meet or are within tolerances.
• Making sure all garments are clean and neat before packaging.
• Counting, sorting, and packaging finished garments and completing the orders to take to shipping.
• Discard or reject garments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
