Join a team of development program professionals to support development programs within one of Honeywell's businesses. You will help implement program plans, budgets, schedules, and execute a programmatic MOS. You will support forecasting & capacity analysis related to delivery requirements, play an important role in the IPDS process and strategies to achieve business performance, and support business leaders by presenting program details, requirements, actions, and status. You will work under moderate supervision of the program manager to execute scope, schedule, cost, delivery, earned value, and quality, demonstrating project management skills including risk management.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver projects and services within budget and schedule, ensuring quality standards.
- Interface directly with UOP customers on all project aspects, including meetings, reporting, inspections, and documentation.
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Care, and Accounting for project setup in SAP and establish cost accruals for outsourced equipment.
- Attend customer equipment kick-off meetings at customer/contractor facilities.
- Obtain documentation for equipment purchase requisitions.
- Review vendor equipment drawings and specifications for conformance to requirements.
- Coordinate project inspections and factory acceptance testing at vendor facilities.
- Support procurement, logistics, credit & collections, and other departments involved in project execution.
- Update SAP and project reporting tools regularly.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, bid documentation, and customer support tools.
- Participate in creating and revising departmental standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process and productivity improvements.
- Conform to corporate policies on HR, HS&E, Legal, Financial, and Accounting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements:
- At least five (5) years of experience in mechanical equipment design, specification, manufacturing, or project management within the refining, petrochemical, gas processing, or related industries.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Experience working with technical specifications, drawings, manufacturing standards, and contractual requirements.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple internal teams and externally with customers and vendors.
- Knowledge of shop inspection activities, welding, and NDE documentation is desirable.
- Experience with mechanical equipment design, procurement, or installation, especially aftermarket support.
- Six Sigma Green Belt and/or PMP certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency with SAP, MS Project, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Effective interfacing with customers and travel up to 10% annually.
Salary Range: $130,000 - $162,000
