Job summary

Spring Creek Rehab in Murray, KY seeks a Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) to support medication administration and vital signs monitoring, under licensed supervision. The role includes assisting with personal care and collaborating on individualized care plans within a compassionate team.

Requirements include completion of a Kentucky state-approved KMA program and active KMA certification in Kentucky, plus a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved KMA training program.
• Currently certified as a KMA in the state of Kentucky.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration under supervision, including preparation, distribution, and documentation.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure).
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform other designated tasks to support patient care.
