Job summary

A Native-owned and operated enterprise in Alaska is seeking Van Drivers for the 2025 cruise season. Join us to transport guests while sharing the beauty and history of Klawock Island. Ideal candidates must be 21+, possess a valid driver's license with a clean record, and ideally have First Aid/CPR certification. Job Duties:

• Transport guests safely to and from Klawock Island Ventures, Hoonah Airport, and other destinations
• Provide narration to guests during transport about Klawock Island, local history, and attractions
• Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and well-maintained
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report any necessary maintenance
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and vendors
• Assist guests who need help getting on and off the vehicle
• Follow all Alaska driving laws and regulations
• Participate in all required training
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUI, DWI, negligent, or reckless driving citations)
• Knowledge of Alaska roadway laws and regulations
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion)
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Knowledge or willingness to learn about Tlingit culture
• Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs
