Job summary

Permobil is seeking a Kitting Associate to accurately pick, assemble, and prepare production kits. The role requires attention to detail, proficient use of hand and power tools, and safe operation of warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers. You will ensure kit accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery.

Typical shift is 1st shift, full-time with overtime as needed. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse, kitting, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Experience operating cherry pickers or willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with inventory systems or warehouse software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick parts and materials from inventory using pick lists or BOMs.
• Assemble kits with correct parts and quantities per specifications.
• Verify part numbers, quantities and quality before completing kits.
• Operate material-handling equipment including cherry pickers and forklifts.
• Label, package and stage completed kits for production or shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Follow safety procedures (PPE, OSHA) and 5S standards.
• Work with teammates to ensure timely delivery of kits.
