Job summary

Vomela is seeking a Kitting Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee daily kitting and hand assembly activities. You will lead a team of assemblers, monitor inventory, and ensure timely production while upholding safety standards.

The role emphasizes mentoring, scheduling, and driving improvements in kitting efficiency, with responsibilities across material coordination and adherence to specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
• Strong knowledge of kitting processes and inventory management systems.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily kitting activities to ensure timely and accurate assembly of kits.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of assemblers to achieve production goals.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure availability of materials.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Inspect completed kits for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
• Develop and maintain kitting schedules in alignment with production timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance kitting efficiency and productivity.
• Other duties as assigned.
