Job summary

Thomson Power Systems in Arlington, Texas seeks a detail-oriented Kitter Associate to support production by picking, staging, and organizing materials for manufacturing work orders. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely communication of shortages, and collaboration with multiple teams.

Responsibilities include maintaining kit accuracy, reading BOMs, and using ERP/WMS systems. This onsite role offers hands-on training and growth within a new facility launch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing, warehouse, materials, logistics, or inventory.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience reading work orders, BOMs, pick lists, or manufacturing documentation.
• Basic computer skills and ERP data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Ability to stand and move throughout a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and kit materials for production orders with high kit accuracy.
• Stage and organize materials to optimize workflow.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, revisions, and documentation before releasing kits.
• Identify and report shortages, discrepancies, or material quality concerns.
• Maintain organized staging and storage areas using 5S principles.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, and Warehouse teams to prioritize urgent orders.
• Perform inventory transactions within ERP or WMS systems.
• Support cycle counts and inventory audits to improve accuracy.
