Thomson Power Systems in Arlington, TX is hiring a Kitter/Assembler for our on-site manufacturing team. You will pick, stage, and organize materials for production orders, ensuring accuracy and timely communication of material issues that could affect schedules.

The role requires at least 1 year in a manufacturing/warehouse setting, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and basic computer ERP/WMS skills to enter transactions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and kit materials for production orders with high kit accuracy.
• Stage and organize materials to minimize assembly time and improve workflow.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, revisions, and docs before releasing kits.
• Identify shortages, discrepancies, damaged materials, or quality concerns.
• Maintain organized staging and kitting areas using 5S and visual management.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, and Warehouse to prioritize urgent orders.
• Perform inventory transactions and ERP/WMS data entry accurately.
• Support cycle counts, audits, and continuous improvement in inventory flow.
• Handle excess and obsolete lists as directed.
• Follow safety procedures and warehouse standards.

In this role, you will pick, stage, and organize materials for manufacturing work orders while proactively identifying shortages, inventory discrepancies, and material quality concerns. Your success will be measured by kit accuracy, production readiness, and the timely communication of material issues that could impact manufacturing schedules.
