Job summary

Randstad USA in Newark, CA is seeking a picker/packer to help ensure that packaging materials arrive ready for customer fulfillment. You will locate and collect merchandise in a warehouse and prepare items for shipment, potentially using a scanner or computer to check inventory and locate items.

You will load items onto dollies or conveyors, assemble packages, inspect merchandise, stock and tag inventory, and perform bending, lifting, standing and walking as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend repeatedly and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Find and collect merchandise in a warehouse and prepare items for shipment.
• Use a computer or scanner to check inventory and locate items.
• Load items onto dollies or conveyors to move them within the distribution center.
• Assemble packages for shipping and inspect, stock, count and tag inventory.
