Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a production operator to run offline, binding, finishing and packaging equipment. You will set up machinery, monitor performance, perform routine maintenance, and support team members as needed.

The role includes a 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM mid shift Tuesday–Friday with a $1/hr shift differential. Starting wages range from $16.00 to $18.18 per hour, with potential for bonuses or incentive programs based on performance.

• Familiarity with routine operating procedures for production equipment.
• Ability to perform minor clerical tasks related to equipment operation.
• Ability to identify improper machine operation and make basic adjustments.

Job Description

Compensation:

• Starting Wage: $16.00/hr - $18.18/hr

Shift:

• Mid Shift: 9:00AM to 7:00PM Tuesday-Friday
• Mid Shift Differential: $1/hr

Job Details:

• Operate offline and auxiliary binding/finishing/packaging equipment
• Set up and adjusts machine and equipment for production runs
• Clean, lubricate and maintain machine to ensure its optimum operation
• May troubleshoot issues and submit requests for maintenance as needed
• May coordinate the assignment of crewmembers and may provide training for new team members.

Qualifications

• Requires familiarity with routine operating procedures of equipment which can be set up and operated following a few step by step instructions and the skill to operate the equipment
• Requires skill to perform minor clerical tasks incidental to the operation of the equipment (e.g., maintain machine operating and maintenance records, write new identification labels for computer tapes, etc.), and skill to perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating the equipment
• Ability to identify if improper machine operation and make basic adjustments.

Additional Information

The national pay range for this role is $16.00/hr to 18.18/hr + 1$/hr Shift Differential. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
