Snelling Staffing DFW is hiring a Kiting Associate for the 2nd shift in Fort Worth, TX. Compensation is $17.50 per hour.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with up to 2–3 weeks of training on the 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) before transitioning to the 2nd shift. During January busy season, duties include inspecting, counting and packaging orders, maintaining safety, and collaborating with team members.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • Maintain quality and production standards.
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies.
  • Meet deadlines and work instructions.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient with basic PC applications (email, Word, Excel).
  • Basic math including fractions and decimals.
  • Able to learn shipping data entry and RFID/inventory systems.
  • Able to work overtime when required.

Kiting Associate-2nd Shift
  • $17.50 per hour

  • Will need to train on 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) for 2-3 weeks then transitions to 2nd shift.
  • For the month of January expect to work everyday for busy season.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities Include:
  • Inspect, count and package orders according to customer requirements
  • Assist in all other areas as needed.
  • Perform all tasks to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates in a cooperative, constructive manner.
  • Organize orders in an efficient manner
  • Works under the direction of the Lead, Supervisor, or Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • Achieve and maintain quality and/or production standards.
  • Follow all processes, regulations, safety procedures in the performance of job duties.
  • Comply with Company Policies.
  • Perform tasks to meet deadlines
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic PC skills to include email, Microsoft Word, Excel and inventory programs
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages and decimals.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn computerized shipping system and data entry.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
  • Ability to work independently to complete tasks
  • Demonstrated record of good attendance and punctuality.
  • Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity. While performing duties of this job, employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and maneuver. Employee may lift, push, pull, lower, and carry product up to 80 pounds regularly. Also required is the physical effort associated with using the personal computer and RF scanners to enter information. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Preferred Qualifications:
