Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking an Assembler II - Kitting to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials across production lines. You will read job orders and BOMs, arrange delivery and assembly of parts, and maintain clean, safe work cells while meeting schedules.

Applicants should read blueprints, use handheld tools, and communicate with supervisors to optimize throughput. This is a 3rd shift onsite role based in Keosauqua, IA.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Proficiency with handheld tools and measuring devices.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret job orders and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.
• Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies to meet production schedules.
• Move totes to tables, verify parts, and move parts to shelves; copy paperwork.
• Consult with supervisors to assess progress and discuss changes.
• Identify maintenance needs on equipment and tooling.
• Work at different workstations as production requires.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area; use safety equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
