Job summary

Deerfield Packaging is seeking a detail-oriented team member to assemble tool kits and prepare them for delivery. You will read order contents, select correct packaging, label tools, and stack finished kits for shipping.

You will follow SOPs, participate in training, and work closely with others in a manufacturing setting while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. High school diploma required; prior warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions with accuracy.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and PPE compliance.
• Excellent teamwork and communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble kits based on order contents and prepare for delivery.

Deerfield Packaging is looking to employ Kitters to assemble tool kits and prepare them for delivery.

Job Characteristics

• Assemble kits based on order contents


• Properly identify and assemble correct packaging and boxes to house kits


• Stack finished kits onto pallets move finished pallets into proper location or pass to freight staff for shipping


• Print and label tools with specific labeling requirements


• Read and interpret shop prints, matching specifications to finished tools to ensure quality assurance


• Maintain kit bibles as standard operating procedures


• Participate in training new employees when needed

Required Skills

• Provide input and suggestions to continuously improve the warehouse


• Able to follow detailed instructions with a high degree of accuracy
