Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality in Illinois is looking for a Kitchen Worker to clean plateware, glassware, and utensils as part of daily food production. The role also supports food preparation under the direction of Culinary Team leadership.

You will maintain high hygiene standards, assist with inventory, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends. The position offers hourly pay between $15.00 and $20.63 plus comprehensive benefits and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or current enrollment with completion within six months.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willingness and ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Must communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
• Willing to work odd hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
• Willingness and ability to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular and frequent basis
• Ability to adequately and successfully perform all aspects of this position
• Must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
• Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position

Base Pay

• Compensation:$15.00–$20.63 per hour, with starting pay based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and skills.
