Responsibilities

The following are the essential functions of the position, to be completed with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Maintain kitchen and dishroom areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Provide high-quality customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere. Work closely with the Executive Chef and/or Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction with food and dining programs.
• Follow cleaning schedules as assigned.
• Wash and store all dishes and equipment according to policies and procedures.
• Keep kitchen floors clean (sweeping and mopping) and trash emptied.
• Maintain dish machine after each meal, including thorough cleaning and temperature logs.
• Assist with transportation and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Complete assigned food preparation tasks as required.
• Follow standard food safety practices.
• Assist cooks and wait staff as needed.
• Help with the preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and themed meals.
• Attend pre-meal kitchen stand-up prior to meal service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

The wage range for this position is $14.00/hr - $16.10/hr, depending on prior work history and experience.
