Job summary

Holiday by Atria - Lodge at Cold Spring in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking dining room and kitchen staff to provide friendly service and assist with meal preparation in a warm, community setting. You’ll help create a restaurant-style dining atmosphere that keeps residents satisfied and engaged.

As part of the team, you’ll work closely with the Executive Chef and other staff, follow safety standards, maintain cleanliness, and support events and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen floors clean and trash emptied.
• Maintain dish machine and temperature logs.
• Assist with transportation and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Complete assigned food preparation and follow safety practices.
• Assist cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Attend pre-meal kitchen stand-up.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

The following essential functions are the fundamental job duties of the position to be completed with or without appropriate reasonable accommodation.

• Maintain kitchen and dish room area in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at alltimes.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style diningatmosphere.Work closely with the Executive Chef and/or Executive Director to keep residentssatisfied with food and dining programs.

Salary Range

The wage range for this position is $16.94/hr - $20.33/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
