Job summary

Holiday by Atria is hiring for a kitchen/dining associate to support a restaurant-style dining program for residents. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and staff to ensure food quality and resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes great customer service, ability to manage multiple tasks, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Benefits include paid holidays, PTO, and health plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or dining service environment preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and dish room in a clean, safe, sanitary condition.
• Provide high level of customer service and promote a restaurant dining atmosphere.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and ensure proper storage of foods and supplies.
• Wash and store dishes and equipment according to policy and procedures.
• Keep kitchen floors clean and manage trash disposal.
• Assist with food preparation and support cooks and wait staff as needed.
• Attend to special events, banquets, and theme meals as required.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

• Maintain kitchen and dish room area in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at alltimes.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style diningatmosphere.Work closely with the Executive Chef and/or Executive Director to keep residentssatisfied with food and dining programs.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules as assigned.
• Wash and store all dishes and equipment in accordance with policy andprocedures.
• Keep kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied.
• Maintain dish machine after each meal by thoroughly cleaning and maintainingtemperature logs.
• Assist with the transportation and proper storage of food and supplies.Complete assigned food preparation as required.
• Adhere to standard food safety practices.
• Assist cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Attend pre-meal stand up in kitchen prior to meal service.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
