Job summary

Perkins Management Services Company is seeking a dependable kitchen/ dishwashing assistant to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across dishwashing areas. You will ensure equipment is clean, report issues, and perform light custodial tasks while delivering courteous service to guests and coworkers.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, with adherence to safety and food handling standards, is required to support the kitchen team and operations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines due to exposure to chemicals.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Previous experience in the food industry preferred.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and the ability to pass safety exams/trainings.

Responsibilities

• Keep all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, and utensils clean and sanitized.
• Maintain the dishwashing station, three-compartment sink, and related areas clean.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working order; report issues to management.
• Perform light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward guests and coworkers.
• Adhere to safety policies and proper food safety procedures.
• Protect company assets from loss or damage.
