Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a General Utility to support kitchen operations in Wichita, KS. You will assist with dishwashing, basic food prep, and maintaining clean, sanitary work areas as part of the Kitchen Team.

Responsibilities include loading dishwashers, washing cookware, completing prep tasks, and keeping areas tidy. The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Caring for others and a willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude.
• Able to lift cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.
• Ability to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on both high and low shelves.
• Works indoors (90%), outdoors (10%).
• Works in hot and damp environments.
• Responds to emergencies to keep self and others safe.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and pre-rinses food from dirty dishes and loads the dishwasher.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays by hand and/or machine.
• Completes all assigned prep work.
• Removes trash and garbage to dumpster area.
• Cleans work areas, walls, equipment and floors.
• Cleans garbage cans and trash receptacles.
• Assembles, maintains and breaks down the dish machine.
