Job summary

Ponca Enterprise Gaming is hiring a Culinary/Utility Worker to support cooks and chefs in a fast-paced casino kitchen. You will help with basic prep, station setup, and sanitation, while handling food and supplies and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires reading and following policies, flexibility, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Background checks and licenses are required as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No previous experience required.
• Must be able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of departmental rules, regulations, and policies.
• Knowledgeable on drink mixing techniques and alcohol serving requirements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, casino environment.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Must obtain state and tribal liquor licenses as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and chefs with basic food preparation tasks.
• Prepare simple menu items according to recipes and instructions.
• Set up and replenish food preparation stations.
• Transport food, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Receive, store, label, and rotate food products.
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Wash dishes and sanitize kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas and surfaces.
• Remove trash and recycling to designated areas.
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management for smooth operations.
• Participate in training programs and maintain professional conduct.
