Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin is seeking a Utility Worker to support the Food & Beverage operation in a bustling hotel kitchen. You will wash dishes, keep the area clean, assist with basic prep, and help with deliveries to ensure a safe, guest-ready environment.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• No previous hospitality experience required—we will train you.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hot environment.
• Willingness to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, trash areas, and workstations.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of kitchen items and clean equipment.
• Empty trash and recycling and replace liners promptly.
• Assist with unloading and organizing food and supply deliveries.
• Support cooks with basic prep and kitchen maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures as required.
• Communicate supply needs or safety concerns to supervisors.
