Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Lead General Utility Worker to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of front and back of house facilities. This role may supervise other utility staff and coordinate tasks to meet client requirements and safety standards.

You will train teammates, ensure dishwashing and related areas are clean and stocked, report issues, and uphold sanitation policies. Strong independent work and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in a similar role.
Ability to exercise considerable judgment based on previous experience to solve problems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
May act as an informal resource for those with less experience.
Extensive knowledge of proper kitchen cleaning techniques including equipment such as steamers, ovens, mixers, grills, and dishwashing equipment.
Thorough understanding of basic sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

Trains and guides utility staff on job duties and safety procedures.
Ensures guest satisfaction by cleaning and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, and utensils.
Maintains and cleans dishwashing station, three-compartment sink, storerooms, refrigerators, and related areas.
Reports equipment issues to management and ensures equipment is clean and functioning.
Performs light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.
Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, and coworkers.
Complies with Aramark safety policies and food safety procedures.
