Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Utility staff member to maintain sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, and dining room. The role supports meal service and assists with stocking and organization, with additional duties during off-peak hours related to kitchen tasks.

Good interpersonal skills and knowledge of sanitation are important; a High School diploma or GED is preferred. The position emphasizes reliability, safety, and teamwork within our hospital food service team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience or training in sanitation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Clean dining room and kitchen dishes.
• Sanitation duties: recycling, boxes, trash, sweeping, and mopping.
• Assist with stocking of food and FIFO rotation.
• Follow safety procedures and sanitation policies.
• Assist in overall kitchen and dining room upkeep as needed.
