Indiana University Bloomington's IMU Dining team seeks a Kitchen Utility Attendant to support campus dining operations in Bloomington, IN. You will maintain clean preparation and dining areas, perform ware‑washing duties, and assist with general kitchen sanitation to ensure safe food service and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications include general high school knowledge and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. A ServSafe certification is required within 180 days of hire.

This role regularly requires the ability to effectively communicate. This role frequently requires the ability to handle equipment. This role frequently requires the ability to remain stationary and ascend/descend ladders/stairs. This role frequently requires the ability to move objects weighing 20 to 50 pounds. The role requires the ability to detect items in close proximity as well as far away; discern between colors; detect objects in peripheral space of self; discern items in detail; and to have good depth perception. This role works indoors around high temperatures and loud noises. This role involves handling meat and plant-based food products as well as a variety of ingredients that may include some or all of the top 9 allergens during the course of cleaning and ware‑washing tasks. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

$15.00 per hour
This is a variable shift position. Shift times vary according to business needs.
