Description

Upon being hired, you will enter a Probationary status, working up to 40 hours per week.

After completing the probationary period, you may become benefit eligible.

• Must be available to work all schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Process china, glassware, and utensils through a large dishwashing machine.
• Wash china, glassware, and utensils by hand as needed.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Follow strict sanitation policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain the expectations listed below.
• Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
• Ability to lift, handle, and transport up to 100 pounds as necessary.
• Carrying heavy objects up and down stairs.
• Bending, stooping, lifting.
• Working while standing for long periods.
• Working at a fast pace for several hours.
• Working at heights over 6 feet.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with industrial dishwashing equipment in a commercial kitchen.
• Experience in heavy cleaning in a commercial kitchen setting.

Required:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a current Williamsburg James City County Food Handlers Card; must present during interview if available.
