Job summary

Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is seeking a dishwasher/kitchen attendant to support our Historic Area kitchens. You will process and wash china, glassware and utensils in a large dishwashing setup and perform thorough cleaning as part of daily operations.

Must be available for all schedules, including nights, weekends, Sundays, and holidays. Prior kitchen cleaning experience and the ability to follow instructions are essential; a Food Handlers Card may be required during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Experience washing dishes in a commercial kitchen.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Commitment to sanitation policies and safety standards.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain a Food Handlers Card if required.

Responsibilities

• Process china, glass, eating and cooking utensils through a large dishwashing machine.
• Wash items by hand as needed.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and instruction protocols.
• Assist in general kitchen sanitation and heavy cleaning tasks.
