Job summary

Holiday by Atria is seeking a Kitchen Utility Worker to support meal service and maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas. You will wash dishes, assist with meal setup, and help deliver trays to residents as needed.

Role includes following Holiday procedures, contributing to a safe, efficient kitchen, and collaborating with the Food Services team to ensure high-quality resident dining experiences.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
• General knowledge of safe food-handling practices.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Ability and willing to follow standards and procedures, and accept direction & training and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash and store dishes following Holiday procedures. Clean the dishwashing area, food-serving areas and equipment, dining room tables and chairs and vacuum and clean the dining room area.
• Assist in setup of serving carts for each meal, prepare water carafes and distribute to tables, serve breakfast and dinner items, deliver trays as needed.
• Assist with food preparation as assigned and work as part of the Food Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
• Help with putting away deliveries and set dining tables for next meal.
• Other duties as assigned.
