Job summary

Holiday by Atria - Walnut Woods is seeking a Kitchen Utility Worker to support meal service and dishwashing operations. You will wash, store, and prepare dishes while maintaining cleanliness according to Holiday procedures.

The role supports food service staff for smooth daily operations. The position offers visibility in a senior living community, opportunities for advancement, and benefits such as health coverage, retirement plan, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
• General knowledge of safe food-handling practices.
• Effective communication in English.
• Ability and willingness to follow standards, take direction and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash and store dishes following Holiday procedures; clean the dishwashing area and dining areas.
• Assist in setting up serving carts and distributing to tables; serve breakfast and dinner and deliver trays as needed.
• Assist with food preparation as assigned and work with the Food Services team to ensure smooth, safe kitchen operations.
• Help with putting away deliveries and setting dining tables for the next meal.
• Other duties as assigned.
