Job summary

The Orchards at Southington, part of Hartford HealthCare, is hiring a Utility Associate to support daily kitchen operations. You'll perform tray assembly, delivery, and cleaning tasks in a senior living setting, helping ensure safe, sanitary food service.

Responsibilities

• Tray assembly
• Tray and cart delivery
• Retrieval of carts with soiled trays
• Mechanical and/or hand washing of all food service plate ware, utensils, equipment, floors, and pots/pans
• Maintaining quality, cleanliness and ongoing sanitation of all dish room and food service production areas
• Mopping and sanitizing all food prep floor areas
• Cleaning checklists, temperature logs, and maintenance reports

Your Impact

The Utility Associate performs a variety of tasks related to the support of the operations of a professional kitchen. These tasks include:

• Tray assembly
• Tray and cart delivery
• Retrieval of carts with soiled trays
• Mechanical and/or hand washing of all food service plate ware, utensils, equipment, floors, and pots/pans
• Maintaining quality, cleanliness and ongoing sanitation of all dish room and food service production areas
