Job summary

Sedgebrook in Lincolnshire, IL is hiring a Kitchen Utility Aide / Dishwasher to support dining services by washing dishes, restocking, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. The role offers weekdays with rotating weekends and a 12:00 PM–8:00 PM schedule, full-time hourly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

No experience is required; training is provided. You will join a welcoming team in a clean, organized senior living community and have opportunities for growth and advancement within Sedgebrook.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Set up and maintain dishwashing and pot-washing stations.
• Clean and sanitize floors, work surfaces, and food service equipment.
• Properly store clean dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools.
• Remove trash and assist with general kitchen cleaning duties.
• Follow all sanitation and safety procedures.
