Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is seeking a Kitchen Technician to perform repair, maintenance, and installation tasks to keep the facility running smoothly. You will also assist with grounds, sanitation, painting, and building systems maintenance, while supporting safety and OSHA compliance.

Starting pay is $27.00 per hour with shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm; full-time role requiring a high school diploma, basic math, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word).
• Read and write in English with good verbal communication.
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages).
• Physically able to push, pull, lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Submit expenditure requests for repairs, upkeep, and improvements to the Facilities Manager.
• Support exterior grounds activities including snow removal, landscaping, and parking garage upkeep.
• Assist sanitation processes including rodent and pest control.
• Paint, repair masonry/woodwork, wallpaper, and furnishings; maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and support safety programs across the property.
