Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly customer service while keeping the deli area clean and well-stocked. No experience is required as we provide on-the-job training.

You will prepare deli items such as salads, sandwiches, fruit cups, and wraps following guidelines, support the cashier teams, and adapt to different work areas. Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures is required.

Qualifications

• Frontline customer service experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Willingness to cross-train in other store roles.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Accurately prepare deli products per designated guides (salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups).
• Follow company policies to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
