Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a friendly Kitchen Team Member to provide excellent customer service in the deli and maintain a clean, stocked area. You will assist with preparing fresh salads, sandwiches and parfaits, and support the cashier team during shifts.

No prior experience is required as we provide training. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and delivering great guest experiences across varying temperatures and busy periods.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties in the deli, answering menu questions and assisting cashier team members with cleaning and stocking.
• Prepare deli items per guides: salads, fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups, and more.
• Follow food safety procedures and company policies in all tasks.
• Cross-train for other store roles as needed.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.


• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.


• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.


• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
