Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a friendly Kitchen Team Member to join our on-site deli team. You’ll greet customers, prepare deli items, and keep the area clean and well stocked. No prior experience required; we will train you and help you grow.

Qualifications

• You’ll interact with customers and coworkers, providing friendly service.
• Ability to stand and perform deli tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting store cashier team members in keeping the deli area clean and stocked.
• Accurately prepare deli products per designated guides (salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups, etc.).
• Follow company policies and food safety procedures during all duties.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross‑training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
