Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Kitchen Team Member in Maryland for a fast-paced deli environment. You will greet customers, answer questions, and maintain a clean, stocked deli area while preparing salads, sandwiches, and snacks.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and addressing customer needs.
• Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products per designated preparation guides (salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups).
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions using available methods and technologies.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
