Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring a friendly Kitchen Team Member in Amarillo, TX. You will greet customers, serve deli items, keep the deli area clean and stocked, and help the team provide top-notch service. No experience? We will teach you!

You will prepare salads and sandwiches per guides, assist with cashier duties, maintain food safety, and adapt to busy shifts. You must be able to lift 25+ pounds and work in varied temperatures.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; we will teach you.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn deli preparation and food safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and answer menu questions.
• Prepare deli items per guides (salads, sandwiches).
• Maintain deli cleanliness and restock items.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.


• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.


• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.


• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
