Bavarian Inn Restaurant in Frankenmuth is seeking a Kitchen Team Member for the hot line and cold prep stations. Seasonal, 15–30 hours per week, wage $14/hr, with shifts from 11am–7pm, 12pm–9pm, and 3pm–Close.

Responsibilities

• Hot Line(Steam Table): Buffet style hot side with mashed potatoes, gravy, noodles, vegetables, and chicken; maintain temperatures and portioning, coordinate with servers and cooks.
• Cold Prep, Salads & Desserts: prepare cold dishes, ensure temperature/quality, batch prep of salads and side dishes, plate cold items for guests.

What You’ll Do

• Hot Line(Steam Table):Buffet style food line primarily focused on hotsides accompanying our famous Family Style Chicken dinners: mashed potatoes,gravy, buttered noodles, vegetable, and of course the chicken! Team members areresponsible for the maintenance of temperatures and quality of food items inaddition to monitoring and portioning of serving sizes to be taken out toguests. Openly communicates with dining room servers requesting food itemswhile maintaining constant communication with cooks as to needs for additionalitems.
• Cold Prep, Salads & Desserts:Buffet style food line focused on thecold sides accompanying our famous Family Style Chicken dinners: coleslaw,cranberry relish, pasta salad, side salads, and ice cream. Team members areresponsible for maintaining temperature and quality of food items as well asmonitoring and portioning of serving sizes to be taken out to guests. Thisposition is also responsible for preparing batches of coleslaw, pasta salad,etc. in addition to plating cold plates such as salads, sandwiches, anddesserts for presentation to guests.

PhysicalRequirements

• Ability tostand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds

Uniform:

Blackdress/work pants, black slip‑resistant shoes, and a white collared shirt or chef coat
