Job summary

Dough Zone USA in Kent, WA is seeking motivated kitchen staff to support daily operations in a busy environment. The position offers an hourly wage of $18.50–$20 with benefits for full-time workers and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include food preparation, maintaining sanitation, stocking, and following SOPs. Weekend shifts are included, with a focus on safe operation of kitchen equipment and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Past experiences in a cook, chef, or similar role in a high-volume kitchen preferred.
• English and Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Ability to lift items over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen manager in daily operations.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (knead dough, make fillings, handle raw materials).
• Follow standard procedure (SOP) to prepare and cook food.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, appliances and workstations.
• Follow standard recipes and special diet orders.
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
• Dishwasher duties include fast-paced dish cleaning and keeping equipment clean.
