Responsibilities

• Providing support to fellow team members.
• Following District Taco’s safe food handling practices at all stages.
• Following recipes and inspecting ingredients before use to ensure quality.
• Quality control: alerting management of food that does not meet safety standards.
• Preparing and pre-portioning various food items as needed.
• Using all kitchen equipment safely.
• Understanding dietary restrictions and procedures to avoid cross-contamination.
• Following portioning guidelines when preparing orders.
• Organizing storage areas and unpacking shipments to maintain rotation.
• Washing equipment and small wares.
