Love's Travel Stops is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly, top-tier customer service while maintaining a clean, well-stocked deli area. No experience? We will teach you!

You will prepare deli items, assist the cashier team, and potentially cross-train in other departments. The role requires lifting up to 25 pounds and working in various temperatures as part of a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including assisting deli staff and answering menu questions.
• Accurately prepare deli items such as salads, sandwiches, fruit, and parfaits following guides.
• Maintain clean, stocked deli area and follow food-safety procedures.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier or Facility Maintenance may occur.
• Physical ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
