Job summary

Boiling Point Group, Inc. in California seeks a motivated kitchen team member to prepare all food items in the Central Kitchen, ensuring quality control, proper prepping, plating, and safe storage for restaurant service.

Duties include chopping, washing, packaging, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness, while following BP standards. You’ll multitask in a fast-paced, team environment with flexible schedules; bilingual Chinese is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant/kitchen environment.
• Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• Able to multitask and work in a team environment.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules.
• Bilingual Chinese preferred, but not required.
• High School diploma preferred.
• All candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate food items according to BP standards.
• Chop all food related items as needed.
• Prepare ingredients for the day.
• Wash and cut vegetables.
• Maintain cleanliness of work stations (trash, counters, floors).
• Package completed pots and seal orders.
• Cook food items as needed for preparation.
• Cut/slice meat as required.
• Follow recipes to make sauces.
• Vacuum seal add-on items for shipping.
• Quality control of all items to BP standards.
• Maintain personal health and sanitation standards.
• Follow BP safety codes and ethics.
