Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. in Zanesville, OH is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to provide friendly customer service, prepare deli items, stock the area and keep surfaces clean.

No experience? No problem—we train you. We offer pay from $11.00 to $23.00 per hour, tuition assistance, PTO, flexible scheduling and a 401(k) with matching, plus Medical/Dental/Vision after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Prepare deli items according to guidelines (salads, sandwiches, fruit, parfaits).
• Maintain clean, stocked deli area and follow food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare deli products (salads, sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups) as directed.
• Follow company policies to ensure food safety and sanitation.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.


• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.


• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.


• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
