Job summary

Impact Fire Services is seeking a Helper for the Denver, Colorado District Office to support inspections, maintenance, and servicing of fire suppression components. You will work under guidance to meet weekly service goals and develop skills in fire protection systems.

The role emphasizes training, safety, and high quality customer interactions, with opportunities for career advancement through apprenticeship programs and company-sponsored licensing.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Kitchen Hood Fire Suppression preferred but not required.
• Mechanical background highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to learn and obtain applicable licenses required for state.
• Pre-employment drug test and background screening required.

This position is located out of our Denver, Colorado District Office.

The Helper will be responsible for providing inspections, maintenance, selling, and servicing a variety of fire suppression components including fire extinguishers, kitchen hood fire suppression systems, emergency lights and other fire products in a professional and timely manner. The Helper will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals. The Helper is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers, and customers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Training will be involved.
• Manage their time to complete the maximum amount of service calls while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Achieve any weekly productivity goals assigned.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain the applicable local and/or state licenses.
• Protect and maintain company equipment.
• Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience in Kitchen Hood Fire Suppression preferred but not required
• Mechanical background highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a current and sustainable good driving record.
• A strong work ethic and professional appearance.
• Ability to sell, communicate effectively, and possess excellent customer service skills is highly preferred.
• Ability to learn and comprehend general electrical safety procedures.
• Any applicable licenses or certifications or the ability to obtain certifications or licenses required for the state.
• After-hours may be necessary.
• Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
