Job summary

Impact Fire Services is seeking a Helper to join our Denver, Colorado District Office. The role involves inspections, maintenance, selling and servicing a range of fire suppression components including extinguishers and kitchen hood systems, with emphasis on timely, professional service.

You will work toward weekly productivity goals, learn fire protection codes, and strive for safe, organized work practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in Kitchen Hood Fire Suppression preferred but not required.
• Mechanical background highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic and professional appearance.
• Ability to sell, communicate effectively, and provide excellent customer service.
• Willingness to learn fire protection codes and obtain licenses.
• Licenses or certifications for the state or ability to obtain them.
• Occasional after-hours work may be necessary.

Job description

This position is located out of our Denver, Colorado District Office.

The Helper will be responsible for providing inspections, maintenance, selling, and servicing a variety of fire suppression components including fire extinguishers, kitchen hood fire suppression systems, emergency lights and other fire products in a professional and timely manner. The Helper will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals. The Helper is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers, and customers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience in Kitchen Hood Fire Suppressionpreferred but not required
• Mechanical background highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a current and sustainable good driving record.
• A strong work ethic and professional appearance.
• Ability to sell, communicate effectively, and possess excellent customer service skills is highly preferred.
• Ability to learn and comprehend general electrical safety procedures.
• Any applicable licenses or certifications or the ability to obtain certifications or licenses required for the state.
• After-hours may be necessary.
