Job summary

Fairbanks Native Association's RPC kitchen is seeking a Kitchen Support to maintain cleanliness, stocking, and assist in food prep under Lead Cook III. This role involves heavy cleaning, FIFO inventory, and weekly shopping.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift and stand long hours, and eligibility for 21+ insurance. CPR/First Aid and Food Handler may be required within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year experience in institutional/high-volume food service.
• Must be 21+ for company insurance.
• Current Food Handler card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cooking sequence to deliver meals on time.
• Daily cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and equipment.
• Assist with food prep, meal setup, and service.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and rotate stock.
• Attend kitchen staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
