Job summary

PCC Community Markets in Edmonds, WA is seeking a Central Kitchen Helper to assist with basic food preparation, packaging and labeling of commissary items. You will label, assemble and check invoices for outgoing commissary orders, supporting a busy kitchen environment.

Position requires ability to work weekends, strong organization, and adherence to safety standards. Starting wage aligns with market practices for this region and role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a busy kitchen environment.
• Ability to work independently and be accountable to the commissary team.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
• Basic math skills for measurement and packaging functions.
• Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements including standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion and lifting 10-40lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Labels, assembles and checks invoices for outgoing central kitchen orders
• Production duties including, but not limited to portioning and packaging product, assembling pizzas and puck*ing cookies
• Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
• Follows department merchandising standards and procedures
• Provides excellent, professional customer service when needed
