PARKMEADOWS seeks a Dietary Aide to assist in daily food service operations and support the kitchen team. You will learn routines quickly, help with serving meals, and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma and ability to read recipes; obtain a food handlers certificate; and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work cooperatively with staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to present information to managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routine within a short period.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving the different meals.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine at shift start.
• Observe dishwasher water temperatures during cycles.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash and garbage.
• Put groceries away safely and neatly.
• Leave kitchen clean and sanitary; assist cook or dietary supervisor.
• Clean work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing dietary staff training.
• Work cooperatively with personnel in all departments.
